DJ Merci

Merci, her story starts with her mother Zomerfee. My parents bought Zomerfee in 1993 from a horsedealer pregnant from Burggraaf.

I remember meeting her for the first time. It was at a small barn at the beach in Scheveningen. She walked like a tiger, smooth with big steps. She didn’t trot, only cantered. Only needing 6 strides to get to the other side of the arena. I didn’t have a sit on her, but knew I needed to have her.

Riding her was the best and worst experience ever, jumping her was like I had never felt before, athletic, powerful and scopy. She only competed at a few small shows when she got injured. I thought I ran out of luck not knowing what she would give me as a brood mare.

Her progeny carries out her success with the already successful brothers SRI Aladdin, Beasley G and Catapult. For the future her success will be continued by Jillz, Jeppetto, Hercules, Jet Run and Leo the Lion. Jeppetto and Hercules are AES approved stallions.
